Bayside Meet n’ Greet @ Beth Boyd Park

Another successful Meet and Greet event.

Special thanks to Barbara Vane, our trip leader / event organiser and chief BBQ’er.

A number of our members were on hand to talk to our visitors and prospective new members. We each brought a plate to share under the picnic area.

The event was a great success with visitors coming along and with some subsequently joining the club and attending our New Members Orientation day drive to Mount Mee.

A number of our guests are already experienced 4x4ers looking to join a club for the first time or looking for a club with flexibility around trip commitments, a family friendly club and respect for the environment and our vehicles.

We all enjoyed a tasty sausage in bread with onions (dare I say – onions on top!) and a choice of sauce. The sausages were cooked to perfection.

The weather and company was fabulous with great conversation. A couple of our furry friends were also there, hello to Charlie and Lulu.

What a lovely family friendly park for the children to enjoy. Guy and Louise brought their three grandchildren who had a lovely time, they were quite worn out at the end of the meet with Miss 2 falling asleep as soon as she got into the car and had to be woken a few hours later.

We did experience some behind the scenes bloopers: The park BBQ was out of order. Barb did give it a lovely pre-spring clean before realising. Becca came to the rescue by popping home to get the portable BBQ. Thanks Barb and Becca for making sure we were well fed.
